Baby baas

Evie loves going out to Mike Schluter's to help him feed his baby lamb! She often goes out there with her cousin, Moana and Nan.

She was doing a very good job of feeding it herself until it got a little excited and pushed too hard on the bottle.

The "wee"!

Still one of Evie's favourite things to do is to sit on the swing (or the wee as she calls it), as long as there is a person patient or silly enough to stand there and push her! In this photo she's waiting for me to tickle her under her armpits!

Puddles

When we returned to Rangiora from Orkney we had A LOT of rain! Evie developed a great love for the puddles down our driveway. They had diminished in size somewhat by the time these photos were taken. She had great fun this day because I was busy talking to our neighbour before I realized what she was doing and she didn't have her gumboots on.

Birthday present trampoline.

This is the mini trampoline that Nan and Doug gave Evie for her birthday. It was inside the house for the first wee while after we arrived back because the weather was so rubbish. Evie was jumping on it during all hours of the night until she recovered from her jet lag, this is her at 11pm! At times like this I wondered how we were ever going to get through it!

Ritch Family Photoshoot!

We all went in to the local photographer's in Kirkwall for a photo session. Kenny and I thought we had to get it done since the family were all together at the moment.

Halley Beach

Kenny and I took Evie to a nearby beach in the morning before Evie had her midday nap.

Evie started to copy Daddy by sitting on a rock. She had fun standing up and sitting back down again.

The Doll's Hoose

I bought a little doll's house for Evie in Aberdeen! Sheena still hasn't forgiven more for it as we had to carry it on the boat back up to Orkney. We took it apart before we left and then rebuilt it when we got back to Orkney. Evie helped Kenny put it back together.

Evie loves playing with it and often puts the "bubba night nights". There's a little garden that attaches to the front of the middle level as well. There weren't any dolls with it but her Kelly dolls fit in it perfectly!
