Saturday

I don't know why I bother buying toys for Evie she is happiest when she is chewing on a tub of Vaporub or has a tube of some sort of ointment. I suppose the hat deserves a mention too! We are just getting ready for the Winter! (Poor child!)
Evie spent Saturday at her Nan's because we shampooed the carpet. Since Evie has started almost crawling the skin on her hands is peeling a little and looking quite sore, we just thought it might be dog hair in the carpet so we gave it a good wash. What a mission!

Sunday Lunch

We went out to Brew Moon for lunch today. Evie ended up with more food on the floor than what actually made it to her mouth.

Doug's table manners weren't much better than Evie's!



Evie had a lovely time and behaved perfectly yet again!

Kenny had a lovely time as well! Just as well Mum and I were there to keep an eye on things!

Pooh Bear on a Swing

At the weekend Kenny wasn't feeling too good so Evie and I went for a walk to the park while he had a snooze. I took loads of photos because I'm still trying to get a photo of the elusive third tooth which has recently come through. However Evie would only smile when the swing was moving but I got loads of cute photos anyway.


I love this Winnie the Pooh outfit. Evie isn't too fussed when the hood is up on it though.


Isn't she a cutie!!!





I had trouble getting Evie to look at the camera because the dog in the park was much more interesting than boring Mum fussing around with her.

Hands on Entertainment

Evie loves eating broccoli, just a tad messy though. She has a wee cold at the moment so this kept her occupied and happy while we ate our tea. She's getting more teeth through as well which is why her cheeks look so rosy.

First Mother's Day

It was so cool to be a Mum on Mother's Day! Evie gave me a book called "Nessie" about the Loch Ness Monster as well as some body lotion. I went out for coffee and cake with Louise and Barbara while Evie was asleep. This was also my first birthday as a Mum and I am being owed a spectacular present for that one! I refuse to count the new dishwasher! The set of pearls I am wearing was my birthday present from Doug and Louise - very flash! ( I think they match my eyes!)

Visit from some cousins

On Fridays Moana often spends the day with Evie, so Evie gets loads of attention all day and there's never a dull moment. Then today Micah and Liberty also came over after school. They spent ages showing Evie her Thomas the Tank Engine train set today and she loved watching the trains go around. The children each want a turn at holding Evie before it's time for them to go home which sometimes causes arguments but it always has a peaceful outcome and everyone gets a turn!! Evie has only just got out of bed from her afternoon sleep which is why she's in her sleeping sack in these photos.
