First Birthday Party
These are just a few photos of Evie with her cousins on Sunday. Liberty just wanted to carry her all day but Evie loses patience with that and just wants to be able to explore.

Birthday Girl!! (A thousand photos!)
Evie didn't wake until after eight which was annoying because I had been awake since 6:30, too excited to get back to sleep!
We had present opening in Evie's bedroom. She loved her peedie baby doll from Granny and Grandad Ritch and recognised it as a "bubba".
Evie demonstrating the actions to her favourite song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". When she does this you know it's your queue to sing!
Louise and Doug called in before Evie's morning sleep. You can see the new rocking horse that we gave her.
Surprisingly Evie wore her badge most of the day (she didn't eat it or throw it away) and she wore it very well I think, with maybe a slightly sticky face! The badge came on a card from Aunty Shona.
We decided to go somewhere special for Evie's birthday so we went to Willowbank Wildlife Reserve and it was magic. Evie was mesmerised by all the animals.
Here you can see Dadda and Evie in front of the miniature Maori village.
Hangin' tough in the bird aviary.
Watching a Kea ...
... and then worrying about where it's going to land!
Evie watching the ducks, which were probably her favourite things at the park. This was a little annoying because we could've seen them just a minute down the road from our house!

Evie Shona's Busy Day
I hired a new toy from the library for Evie and she loves it. She loves the different activities in it or else she just sits in it and watches the birds out the window.
After being busy in the garden Evie enjoys a soak in the bath to relax her muscles! She also enjoys catching fish and sinking tug boats!
