Mona and Leslie's Visit

Kenny's Aunty Mona and Uncle Leslie came over to visit us this evening. They are in New Zealand at the moment visiting their daughter and her family who are living in Nelson.


Evie had a fun evening showing Aunty Mona her toys and playing together with her.

Evie's Friend

Evie's very good friend Ronan Martin stayed with us for a night before he left NZ for Australia. Evie ran around outside with him most of the evening and then she got horsey rides before bed! I think he was worn out by the end of the evening!!

At the Hairsalon

Evie went to the hairdresser's for the first time today. She took it all very seriously and sat perfectly the whole time. She even sat there quietly and let the girl brush her hair!


She loved sitting there and watching the other people getting their hair done as well.

At the Dinner Table

We've got Ronan and Bob staying with us at the moment and Evie is just hyped to the max having a larger audience to perform too. They are handling the noise level very well!

Baking Biscuits for Daddy

Evie discovered the joys of baking today. We made Anzac biscuits for Kenny, Evie loved the whole process and was excited when they came out of the oven. She ate 3 biscuits in the afternoon so they must have been good!


She got in bit of a mess sifting the flour!

The Lumberjack

Kenny and Mark hired a log splitter for the weekend to get our wood ready for the winter.

Evie loved watching the log splitter and she donned the earmuffs and glasses to give the boys a hand!

Camping at Fernside

Over Waitangi weekend the 3 of us decided to give camping a go so we pitched our tent in the garden at Mum and Dad's. Evie had a blast and adapted really well to tent life.
