Stones in the Garden

The stones went down today. I can't pretend to have done anything to have helped with this part of the task! However I was busy looking after Evie.


At lunch time it got quite hot so Kenny came inside and for a treat we all had a well deserved ice-cream. Kenny got even more of a treat and was allowed to wear Evie's one!

Well, she was wearing a fair bit of it herself already!

She enjoyed it so much that when a bit of it fell onto the floor she put her head on it and went "a-haa's", giving it a hug!

While Kenny was busy in the garden I had the strenuous chore of putting up the Christmas tree! What a drag!! Evie loved seeing it when she woke from her afternoon nap. So far she hasn't tried to grab anything from it, but it's out of her reach anyway. Now we have our presents from Orkney underneath it! Very exciting and I haven't poked anything promise!!

Planting in the Car Park

We finally got some pongas from Mark and planted them alongside the garage, it was a real mission weeding in there. Thankfully Evie had a big sleep so we were both able to work on it.


Kenny put weed mat around the grasses as well. Now all we need is to put the stones down.

Bedtime!

Evie was a little excited the other night when she was supposed to be going to sleep. Kenny went in to see her and she was standing up in her cot having a party. She was in a great mood. We had to calm her down a bit once the photo shoot was over!

Helping Dadda

Kenny did some work around the house on Sunday and he took these photos of Evie as she was running away with his measuring tape! She looks very pleased with herself!

Book Worm

Evie loves reading her books! She loves them so much that sometimes she can't decide which one to read so she just rips the lot out of her bookcase and browses over their covers.

In the Bath

Evie still loves having a bath and often shows off new skills she has learned like picking up her toys with her teeth! She thinks she is very clever!

Out for a Walk

Evie loves to walk down to the end of our street and back which is great for her but it hardly gets my heart pumping! But it is loads of fun and I think nearly all the older residents on our street come out to see her as we walk passed! She puts on quite a show for them! But she gets really frustrated sitting in the buggy now which is annoying if I just need to quickly walk into Rangiora!

Little Ladybird!

Well, not so little now as the outfit is a little big for her! It didn't quite do up under the chin and gave her that kind of Biggles effect! But none the less she still looked really cute! We went to the Teddy Bear's Picnic today which was put on by Plunket, she has her teddy also dressed up as a ladybird beside her in the second photo. Loads of people commented on the outfit because they wanted to get one as well. But I think it was what was inside it that made it looked so cute! Not any bubba could carry that off!!
