On the move

Evie started crawling a few weeks ago now but she is getting quite quick and is moving from room to room.

Evie has just spotted the blinds in this photo as I kicked them with my foot. She is now going to demonstrate why we are buying curtains for the living room (as well as the obvious reason that curtains will be warmer)!

Evie loves playing with the blinds. Kenny had to remove the beading that joined them together around the bottom. He was worried that she would crawl through them and get tangled whereas I was worried that she would chew the beads off.
She looks like she is in a car wash when she plays with them!

Dinner out

We went out for dinner with Mum and Doug to Brew House in Rangiora. Evie always eats really large meals there. I took more than I thought she would eat as well as dessert and she ate the lot! Nan fed her of course, when she is around Kenny and I don't get a look in - we don't complain!

A Big Girl Now!

We sometimes put Evie in the big bath now and she loves it. Same old toys though! Same old Mum too because I sometimes have a bath with her which is fun. It has the potential to be relaxing but I usually get climbed all over.

First Trip to the Beach

Today was a public holiday so we decided to go to Waikuku Beach with Evie. She was a little tired when we got there but as soon as she saw the waves she got excited.

Mummy's turn for cuddles!



Back to Daddy then off home.

Hair wash night

Evie loves water dripping down her forehead but she isn't too keen on actually getting her hair washed. She pulls herself up holding on to the sides of the bath now and loves to kneel there talking to Kenny while he sits there with her. It's the highlight of Kenny's day! (I am under no illusion that the highlight is coming home to me!)

Visit from Moana

Mum was looking after Evie today while I was at work and she had Moana over as well. Evie slept for 2 hours in the middle of the day so Nan put on "Monster's Inc" for Moana and Evie watched the end of it with her sitting on Moana's knee.
