Kaikoura Holiday

We went to Kaikoura last weeekend for a wee break. We stopped off at a a place called St Anne's Lagoon on the way there. It was a lovely spot and all the daffodils were in flower.






Then we went through Kaikoura to a seal lookout and a waterfall walk. At this time of year the young seals swim up the creek and play about underneath the waterfall. There were only 3 seals there that we saw but it was still cool!



Then we went to our "new home" for the night which Evie really loved because it was right across the road from the beach and also a play park.


Kenny and Evie went for a paddle in the water and they saw a school of little fish splashing about in the water which Evie wanted to follow.
