Second Day

It was really hot today about 30 degrees. Thankfully Mum had bought a hat for Evie which ties under the chin because we have a right job trying to keep hats on her. She still tried to rip it off but gave up eventually.

We went down to the river which flows through Whare Flat. Evie had a nice paddle, unfortunately the shallow places were still in the sun but she was well covered!

She had fun picking up stones and throwing them back into the water. She also liked throwing flowers in and watching them float away down stream.

Clap hands!

She wasn't too chuffed about slipping onto her bottom tough!

I think I got this cuddle for saving her when she slipped in and ended up sitting in the water! Poor peedie thing!

Nula came down to join Evie for a paddle with Keiran, Maggie and Ellen. The wee girls loved having each other there but they still mainly went about doing their own thing.

Here comes Bob! The only one of us brave enough to take the plunge and go for a swim at the water hole!

The boys had a session in the evening outside Bob's tent and worked out which tunes they were going to play and Keiran asked Kenny and Bob to accompany him for a couple of tunes at his gig.
